Mercedes is such a stunning and vivacious girl… I met her through a friend of my daughter’s and I knew right away that she would be a joy to work with. She is very warm to everyone she comes in contact with, she has a fabulous sense of style, and let me tell you… this lady knows how to wear a beautiful dress and she definitely knows how to pose for photographs! She made my job so easy as did the lovely backdrop of the Melrose Hotel. You blog readers have met Mercedes previously when I blogged the engagement photos of her and her then fiance’ Jason. Well I shot their wedding this past Saturday so now I can show the world Mercedes in her bridal gown! I am so crazy about these images… I think they reflect the drama and the glamour that is inherent to Mercedes.

This session with Mercedes and her dear friend Karla and her then daughter-to-be Michaela was so enjoyable… and that was because Mercedes was having so much fun! Her joy was more than evident.

We went out on the hotel balcony for these next shots which are some of my favorites from the shoot… they are so light and airy and full of happiness… of course Mercedes is stunning in every image I took but I think these images really show her inner light.

Mercedes gown… as you can plainly see… fit like a glove, and flattered her beautiful figure perfectly. I think one of the best things about being a bride, aside from marrying the man you love of course, is finding that perfect dress. Bravo Mercedes… you nailed it!
