Lindsey and I were connected through a mutual friend and when we first talked about me photographing her wedding we had to do it over the phone because Lindsey was in West Texas and I was here in Dallas. She and her fiancé Travis (who is now her husband by the way) are big sports fans, as are their families, so they had a super romantic and fun wedding planned for Ranger’s Ballpark! Lindsey and I hit it off right away and having never before shot at the ballpark I was really thrilled to be doing it. I always like a new adventure and this wedding certainly fit the bill.
When we met to do these bridals it was my very first time to meet Lindsey and her mom… and they are both such warm and lovely women that I knew right away that we were going to have a ball creating these images. My dear friend Linda Dee Stringer came along to assist and was invaluable. She has an excellent eye. Being from out of town, Lindsey and her mom came to Dallas for some shopping as well as to do this shoot and their home away from home was to be the Gaylord Texan. It turned out to be the perfect place for the photos and though we had originally planned to be running around Dallas in the heat, it turned out that everything we needed was right there!
I just loved Lindsey’s pop of color on her dress and her stunning red hair and dramatic blue eyes really made for beautiful images… as you can see. This area of the Gaylord was my favorite as it has a European feel and was the perfect romantic backdrop for Lindsay’s bridals.
I mean talk about beautiful… look at those eyelashes!
We walked until we were all exhausted and didn’t exhaust the great areas for photos at the Gaylord… Lindsey was a trooper and only stopped a few times to text Travis and let him know about our progress. I will be blogging about their amazing ballpark wedding soon so you will meet Travis then. But for now, back to more gorgeous images of Lindsey! I love this next area as it has an English garden feel that really suited Lindsey and her romantic gown.
I am so honored Lindsey that you chose me as your photographer… I think we made beautiful images together.
