You don’t grow up in the Cameron household without learning how to use a camera, and as Tamytha’s daughter, Celeste was no exception. Celeste has always had an eye for photos and started taking photographs professionally when she was in college. Though she takes her profession seriously and cares deeply about the end result, she strives to make the photoshoot process as carefree and enjoyable as possible. Clients often comment about how easy the process was with Celeste behind the lens. She loves working with people and thrives on finding beauty in ordinary circumstances.
At 27, Celeste has been working in the photography business for 9 years and has been a part of Tamytha Cameron Photography for 5 years. She shoots weddings, events, and portraits alongside her mother while also maintaining her own list of beloved clients. She has two degrees from Elon University in marketing and film production that give her a strong sense of visual aesthetic and design. When she isn’t behind the lens, she works in marketing and digital media and is an active member of the Dallas-based young women’s group, Circle Seven Five.
While she won’t deny overusing her Netflix account, Celeste is happiest when she’s outdoors. She enjoys climbing, hiking, and canoeing. She has a wandering spirit and adores traveling, whether to remote mountain spots or cultural wonders in big cities. Her travels have taken her all over the country and she shares her mother’s deep adoration of Scotland. At the end of the day, there is nothing Celeste likes more than Mexican food, a great craft beer, or a home-cooked meal (that she makes herself). She is a big fan of the New England Patriots and is very politically active. She has a passion for learning, exploring, history, science, and nature. She also really likes to talk.
More than anything, Celeste loves being a part of a community. She has an incredible group of friends and a fierce connection to her family. If she’s not on the road, you can find her in Dallas with her two adorable, fat cats, Clover and Ivy and an endless collection of books she can’t wait to read.
